Definition Of Hands Team
1. This is a group of players, that is mostly comprised of wide receivers and tight ends, who are responsible for recovering an onside kick. Both the kicking and receiving teams put their hands team on the field during the onside kick, and they line up as close as they can to the neutral zone so that once the ball crosses out of the zone, they can try to recover it.
The hands team consists mainly of receivers because they are best players on the team at catching unpredictable balls.
