I was 50 seconds away from rejoicing when the Seattle Seahawks were supposed to repeat as champions, but instead, I sat speechless with cheese dip dropping from my lips.
I’m not an expert in football, and I’m not even that great at Madden on my Xbox, BUT MY GOD even I know that when you have a guy like Marshawn Lynch in the backfield, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get that 1-yard touchdown run.
And to cap it off, there was the classless fight at the end of the game.
Luckily, to make up for the loss and the altercation at the end of the game, I saw this picture of an athlete congratulating another on their win. And it was of two of the most unlikely players.
Richard Sherman and Tom Brady. Two men who don’t necessarily have the best history together.
Somehow, that made the pain go away (slightly).
